You can ask us to delete your GrowDM.ai account and its associated data at any time.

This covers data collected through our platform, including data we receive from Instagram when you connect an account.

1. Data That Can Be Deleted

You may request deletion of:

Your account and profile information
Your connected Instagram accounts, including the stored access token
Your automations and their performance statistics
Message, comment, and mention records processed by your automations

2. How to Request Deletion

Email our privacy team at privacy@growdm.ai from the address on your account.

Required Details

Include the following so we can identify your account:

Registered Email: the email address associated with your GrowDM.ai account.
Account/Business Name: your business name or the Instagram handle connected to the platform.
Reason: optional — telling us why you are leaving helps us improve.

3. Processing Timeframe & Retention

We process deletion requests within 30 days of receiving an authenticated request.

We may retain certain records for longer where we are required to — for example invoices and payment records kept under Indian tax and accounting rules, or data needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms.

4. Revoking Access on Instagram

GrowDM.ai connects to Instagram Business and Creator accounts with your authorisation. Deleting your data here removes it from our servers; you can separately revoke our access from Instagram itself, which stops any further data reaching us.

To remove GrowDM.ai’s access from your Instagram account:

Open the Instagram app and go to Settings and privacy.
Under Website permissions, tap Apps and websites. On some app versions this sits under Settings > Security instead.
Open the Active tab and find GrowDM.ai.
Tap Remove to revoke access.

You can do the same on a desktop browser from Settings > Apps and websites on instagram.com. You can also disconnect the account from inside GrowDM at any time.

Revoking access stops future data collection, but you still need to email privacy@growdm.ai to have data we already hold deleted from our servers.
